七隈祭 (Nanakumasai, the school festival)

今日は七隈祭は始まりましたから、授業がありませんでした。この祭りは三日間かかって、たくさん面白いことがあります。今日はダンスが見られて、歌が聞けて、いろいろな食べ物売っていました。本当に楽しかったですから、明日また見に行きたい！

Tänään alkoi Nanakumasai, kolmipäiväinen festivaali yliopistollamme, joten meillä ei ollut koulua. Suunnittelin käyväni vilkaisemassa tänään festivaalia, mutta jäinkin sinne koko ajaksi. Nähtävää riitti! Oli laulu- ja tanssinumeroita, ruokakojuja, yliopiston kannutusryhmän esityksiä, rumpuja ja paljon paljon ihmisiä! Puhukoot kuvat puolestaan...

[Today was the first day of Nanakumasai, the festival at our university. It will last for 3 days which means we don't have classes today or tomorrow. I had planned to go and quickly see the happening today but finally I stayed there until it ended. There was so much to see! There were songs, dance shows, food, performances of the cheer leading group of the university, drums and lots of people! Let the pictures tell more...]

Saimme maalata itse ruusut, lopun työn teki taiteilija itse.
[We got to paint the roses and the artist herself made the rest.]
